Civil Society Engagement is key to effective decision making and sustained support for ambitious climate action. This event brings together government and civil society representatives leading efforts to guarantee transparency, effective public participation and accountability as means to strengthen implementation of the Paris Agreement. It will examine the role of the Open Government Partnership, the Paris Agreement implementation guidelines, domestic laws and social accountability tools.
